William Hill Expands Further In Nevada

Sports gambling giant William Hill has now taken over the sportsbook and race operations for Golden Entertainment out of Las Vegas.

CDC Gaming Reports has stated that it is now running the show at various sportsbooks including Arizona Charlie`s Boulder in Las Vegas, Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin and Arizona Charlie`s Decatur. Further plans for expansion are underway for the company.

William Hill has been installing gambling kiosks in third-party-distributed gaming locations across the state and at approximately 80 taverns owned by Golden Entertainment. Golden also recently acquired two other properties, Colorado Belle and Edgewater in Laughlin, both of which will have their sports gambling operations run by William Hill.

β€œThe addition of the four new casino resorts marks an exciting new chapter in our relationship with Golden Entertainment. We look forward to working together to offer sports fans an amazing experience for many years to come in Nevada and elsewhere as opportunities arise.” Says William Hill U.S. CEO Joe Asher.

Hill has become the largest sportsbook operator in the U.S. and the acquisition of new properties in Nevada is one more step in the right direction for this company. They along with Golden are planning on tackling Maryland and Montana next, if sports gambling legislations get approved in those states. Golden owns the Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Maryland and is already operating distributed gaming in Montana, and provides services to around 300 locations.

A number of other agreements are also in place throughout the country for William Hill. It has partnered with Eldorado Resorts, which will launch soon in Iowa and Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino.
