The organizers of the ASEAN Gaming Summit have announced that the 2019 edition of the summit will be the biggest ever in the history of the conference, with over 400 participants expected during the three days event. Report has it that major stakeholders in the gaming industry in Asia already registered as participants at the event. Top among registered participants are land based casino operators like Caesars Entertainment, Belle Corporation, Melco Resorts, Crown Resorts, NagaCorp, Thunderbird Resorts & Casinos, and Resorts World Manila. The online casino operators have also shown significant interest in the event as there are currently a number of online operators that already registered for the event, including Betcris, LuckyNiki, Pinnacle, Ladbrokes Coral, and MoPlay.
The first day of the summit is slated to bring delegates up to speed on the newest innovations and technology that affect land based casinos, which include evolutions of the slots, smart table technology, future of ETGs, and how casino market has responded to the skill based gaming from the view point of operators.
Participants will also have the opportunity to listen to the Founder of Walker Digital, famous investor and entrepreneur, Jay Walker, who will speak on the future of gaming. Additionally, Earle Hall, a TED Talks professional speaker from AXESNetwork, will also be speaking on how to use blockchain at land based casinos in today’s world.
The second day of the summit will delve into economic and regulatory developments in the major gaming jurisdictions across Asia, including Korea, Macau, Philippines, Cambodia, and Japan, among others. The second day also has bonus sessions which look at the applications of blockchain on a wider level in online gaming, and the great opportunities from the United States sports betting market.
Day three will feature a closed door round tables for the online gaming operators. The event on this day will be launched by Alfredo Lim, the President and COO of Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corporation, and he will talk about what PAGCOR has done so far in Philippines as well as the plans for the future. The round table discussions for the third day will include topics such as Innovation in Game Design, The Online Casino Roadmap, European Licensing Opportunities, Asia Licensing, and Future of Asia Sports Betting & Betting in India, which is estimated to be $60 billion opportunity.
