Arizona Hotshots, based out of Phoenix and the fifth team to be a part of the new Alliance of American Football (AAF), have struck a sponsorship deal with Casino Arizona, a business owned and managed by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
Talking about the sponsorship to Arizona Hotshots who just got rolling in their season in February earlier this year Ramon Martinez, director of public relations for Casino Arizona said: “Casino Arizona has long been a supporter of sports in the state and we are thrilled to be a part of this new iteration of football.“Casino Arizona has long been a supporter of sports in the state, and we are thrilled to be a part of this new iteration of football.”
Following the signing of the sponsorship contract, Casino Arizona’s logo will now be shining on the signage across the Sun Devil Stadium. Moreover, an “Arizona Hotshot Coach’s Show” will be hosted at the CAZ Sports Bar and it is expected that the players will often visit the Casino during most CAZ events. The Sports Bar is the latest addition to the Casino Arizona’s infrastructure, and with the sponsorship, in place, it will also be the hosting ground for regular game viewing parties.
In a statement issued by the Arizona Hotshots, they said: “To have a partner like Casino Arizona is truly unbelievable. Their commitment to Arizona sports is unmatched, and we are privileged to have their support for the Hotshots. We will continue to give fans the best possible experience at Sun Devil Stadium and look forward to making the viewing parties at CAZ Sports Bar the place to be when the team is on the road.”
The AAF, an eight-team league playing a 12 game season ending April 27 is a brainchild of Charlie Ebersol and former Indianapolis Colts general manager, Bill Polian. While the AAF is not affiliated to the NFL, it does have members who were former NFL players and the idea is to provide new and emerging players with a platform to learn and excel.
The participating teams in AAF are divided with four each in the Western and Eastern Conference. Salt Lake Stallions, San Antonio Commanders and the San Diego Fleet are part of the Western Conference along with the Arizona Hotshots.
