Borgata Hotel Casino joins the club of gambling venues offering mobile and sports betting in New Jersey. It has launched its own sportsbook, and the casino will now offer sports betting along with casino and poker.
It was in May 2018 when the US Supreme Court lifted the ban on sports betting and allowed states to regulate sports betting in their jurisdictions.
Following the decision, a number of states have already legalized sports betting while many are in the process of legalizing sports gambling. New Jersey and Nevada were amongst the first to legalize sports betting.
Earlier in January, Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa had announced to invest in excess of $11m to develop a new bar and sports wagering experience.
In an official statement to the press, President & Chief Operating Officer at Borgata, Marcus Glover said: “We are excited to launch BorgataSports.com,” Glover said. “With our customers in mind, we have delivered the ability for existing BorgataCasino.com and BorgataPoker.com account holders to use their current credentials to sign in and access all platforms, allowing for a seamless transition between products.”
To facilitate online and mobile sports betting the casino has launched native iOS and Android apps. The apps feature an entire fleet of games and betting products and services. The Apps make sports betting available for Borgata customers, even on their smartphones. The casino also offers offer customers live betting (In-Play).
