Azure gaming CEO and America Chairman Takahiro Usui has said that he would be stepping down by the end of the month.
Usui has confirmed that he is stepping down for personal reasons. He has been with the company for 14 years and gradually made his way to the top position.
Responding to the decision, Azure said that Usui had played an instrumental role in maintaining and advancing the company’s position and reputation as a leading innovator in the gaming and gambling industry.
Rich Pennington, vice chairman of the board, said: “The Aruze board of directors collectively would like to thank Takahiro for his incredible efforts and accomplishments while at Aruze and we wish him well in all his future endeavors.”
The company has also announced that Yugo Kinoshita will be replacing Usui. Kinoshita is currently the chief financial officer and chief strategy officer. He has been associated with the company since 2012, serving as senior vice president of corporate strategy and group chief operating officer.
“It is with great honor that I accept the role of Aruze’s new CEO. I am excited for the future of the company and look forward to continuing the momentum of success that the organization is currently experiencing,” he said.
