Hard Rock’s Hollywood Casino Resort Seeks Staff for $1.5 Billion Expansion

For what is being claimed as the first guitar-shaped hotel, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is planning to hire 600 employees. The entire project is expected to cost about $1.5 billion.

The Hard Rock International has already announced a three-day job fair from July 7 to 9. Earlier in June, the company organized a job fair which saw 2,500 applicants. Hard Rock International managed to fill 500 positions from the job fair last month.

In this month’s job fair, the company is looking for staff for banquets and beverage, front office, housekeeping, culinary, public space, pool operations, stewarding, and security, among others. It is planning to fill at least 600 different positions for its expansion project.

Candidates are required to submit their applications before the job fair kicks off. Those who apply would be able to Check-in for the event from noon local time to 3 pm on Sunday, July 7, 4 pm to 6 pm on Monday, July 8, and 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 9 at the Hard Rock Event Center.

The applicants will have a live interview, and the selected candidates would also be given immediate offer letter on the spot.

Apart from the luxury hotel, there would be several other additions to the property. Earlier in May, hospitality giant Hard Rock had announced the $1.5 billion expansion plan and had said that they would need 1200 more employees to develop a new 450-foot guitar-shaped hotel.
