Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has appointed Bo Guidry its President who would be looking at the operations and other development plans of the casino resort.
The casino is currently undergoing a massive expansion of $1.5 billion, which is all set to be completed by October 24 this year.
Guidry replaces outgoing president, Auggie Cipollini. Cipollini has been promoted to the position of president of Seminole Hard Rock Support Services.
Guidry has served as senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Casino – Council Bluffs and Harrah’s Council Bluffs, both located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Both gambling establishments were owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.
With the new plan, the Hard Rock management is looking to increase the hotel room count at the venue to 1,300, and also increase the gaming space while adding restaurants and other recreational facilities.
Seminole Hard Rock casino claim to be developing the world’s first guitar-shaped hotel. The casino has been seeking additional employees to the tune of 1200 for the project.
It organized a job fair to fill in the vacant positions, and around 600 positions were filled in a job fair last month.
