Following the certification, Pragmatic Solutions is now authorized to provide its PAM iGaming platform to gambling companies operating in the regulated Swedish market.
In its recent statement to the press, the company said that to them Sweden has long been an important and extremely popular iGaming destination and that after the recent overhaul of the Swedish gambling market, it was important for Pragmatic solutions to get the necessary certification.
Pragmatic Solutions Business Development Director Mark Woollard said that “Sweden is a strategic market to many of their clients and that they are excited that their product can now serve their needs. Pragmatic Solutions’ platform has great stand-out progress since the beginning of the year, and its latest certification adds more weight to that progression, the company official elaborated further.”
The online gambling market in Sweden has been expanding. Since the reorganization of the gambling market earlier this year, Sweden has awarded 86 licenses.
Moreover, according to the recent figures posted by the Swedish Skatteverket tax agency (STA), the gambling tax taken so far was SEK1.84bn ($190.7m), which is more than double the initial forecasts for the first six months of 2019.
