While the NFL has been opposed to gambling and sports betting, from its recent moves it is becoming apparent that the league is softening its stand on gambling.
Earlier this week on Monday, the NFL struck a partnership deal with Sportradar. According to the deal, the NFL would be sharing its official data and allow Sportradar to sell it to licensed sportsbook.
The announcement confirmed that the “exclusive distribution of NFL’s real-time official play-by-play data and NGS data to sports betting operators in the U.S. and internationally where sports betting is legal and regulated.”
