This year’s regional Mekong Gaming Summit will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on September 10th – 11th.
The Gaming Summit will provide regional and global operators enhanced networking opportunities in the evolving Asian gambling industry. The gaming summit will be held at the Sofitel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 10th-11th September 2019.
The speakers at the Summit boasts of prominent figures including the Secretary of State for the MOEF, the co-chairman of the Hong Kong Blockchain Association and the CEO of iGaming Asia.
Cambodia is already evolving as a gambling destination with the flow of Chinese investments rolling in the country. Moreover, the Summit will present an opportunity for investors to learn and understand the tricks and trades of operating a gambling business in the country.
Moreover, the Summit will help investors evaluate potential investments in Cambodia, and the neighboring states of Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
Earlier in June this year, in the inaugural ceremony of the two-day regional gaming expo in Sihanoukville, the Asia Gaming Expo representatives said that Cambodia would be a regional gaming and gambling hub soon.
There are over 60 different gambling and casino establishments in the country. The Cambodian government has been issuing a license to gambling operators and so far, there have been 163 gambling licenses issued.
