Melco Resorts & Entertainment is hiring for its fourth satellite Cyprus casino (C2). The new property is scheduled to welcome guests towards the end of the year. It will be located in Paphos.
In its statement to the local media, Melco said that they are looking for 30 “capable and enthusiastic” individuals to join the C2 Paphos team. Melco will organize a C2 Open Career Day on September 4 from 10 am to 3 pm local time at The Fifth Floor in Paphos.
The recruitment process will see Members of Melco’s Talent Acquisition Team conduct interviews for gaming machines attendants, security officers, and cashiers.
All EU citizens aged over 21 will be eligible to apply for any of the available positions.
Currently, Melco operates three satellite casinos in Cyprus. The gambling giant started with two satellite casinos – one in Nicosia and the other in Larnaca – last year. The third casinos in Ayia Napa started welcoming guests from July this year.
In July this year, Melco completed it one year of their operations in Cyprus. At present, there are four land-based casinos operating in Cyprus including a temporary casino in Limassol and three satellite casinos in Nicosia, Larnaca, and Ayia Napa.
Melco is already developing another casino in Cyprus – The City of Dreams Mediterranean. The construction work started in April this year, and the casino resort is expected to be welcoming guests in 2021. The entire project is estimated at $617 million.
In a recent development, Cyprus banned all gambling adverts during the daytime.
