The Euro Games Technology (EGT), a global gaming and technology services provider has got 70 of its gaming units installed in Gran Palacio casino in Monterrey, Mexico as a part of its strategic expansion in the Latin American country.
“For 10 years our strategic approach has made us one of the fastest developing enterprises in the Mexican gaming industry and we currently operate 18 casinos – the latest 5 opened last year,” stated Alberto Charlan, CFO of Euromex.
Nadia Popova, director of EGT Central America, said that since entering the market in Mexico in 2017 their company has positioned itself as one of the top gaming providers in the country.
Earlier in April this year, Mexico’s Caliente Group partnered with Euro Games Technology to start its first gambling lounge in the region, in Hipódromo de Agua Caliente Casino in Tijuana, Mexico. The new lounge hosts 33 slot cabinets and multiplayer terminals of EGT.
Several gambling operators have been eyeing at the expanding Latin American market and Mexico in particular. In June this year, Uk-based online sports betting brand Bet365 went live in Mexico.
The online gambling operator partnered with Ganador Azteca, a TV Azteca subsidiary and launched its operations after Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos (DGJS), the gambling authority in Mexico, green signaled the gambling operator’s plans to go live in Mexico.
