This would be the first time the gaming content supplier’s portfolio of games would be featured across a brand catering to Spanish customers.
Commenting on the deal, Todor Zahariev, chief executive of EGT Interactive, said that he was extremely excited about this new partnership. He termed it as a continuation of their company’s long-term collaboration with Orenes Grupo in land-based operations.

While the online gambling and sports betting market in Spain is expanding, a recent study revealed that Spanish teens are most addicted to gambling when compared with their European counterparts.
A joint study of Spain’s Federation of Rehabilitated Gamblers and Madrid’s Association of Psychologists reveal that one out of every five Spanish youth is addicted to gambling.
To combat increasing cases of Gambling addiction amongst children, Spain’s Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), the country’s gambling regulator announced that its sports betting licensees “will not be able to include in their program of events those events that are played exclusively or predominantly by minors.”
The DGOJ said that the new measure is “based on the best interests of the minor.” The gambling watchdog said that it wants to ensure the “healthy participation” of kids in sports.
