GVC Holdings has announced a new CEO for Australian operations. Dean Shanon will be replacing Jason Scott to be GVC’s chief of operations in Australia.
Scott became a permanent member of the GVC executive team after serving six months as interim Australia CEO. He was hired back in August 2017.
Shanon has a vast experience of serving in a managerial position with top global gambling operators. He previously served as Executive Chairman of Neds and was also the CEO of Ladbrokes Australia for four years between 2013 and 2017.
With the appointment, Shanon is tasked with leading both the Ladbrokes Australia and Neds brands.
Commenting on the new appointment, GVC CEO Kenny Alexander said: “We are delighted to announce Dean’s appointment. He is a highly dynamic, experienced leader with the entrepreneurial skills that will drive our Australian business to even greater success in the future.
