Hard Rock’s guitar-shaped casino hotel in Hollywood is all set to welcome guests from Thursday. While the casino operator is ready to unveil the $1.5 billion expansion, the question is what’s next?
“Certainly on the Strip is one of the possibilities,” Chief Executive Officer Jim Allen said in an interview Monday with Bloomberg Radio’s Carol Massar and Jason Kelly.
Hinting at making their presence marked on the famous Las Vegas Strip, Mr. Allen said that it would be a great opportunity for the company.
The entire $1.5 billion project at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood has been much in the news, especially over its shape and infrastructural design.
“We look at this as an adult integrated resort,” said Jim Allen, CEO of Hard Rock International. “It is truly a destination that’s not just a casino.”
The casino hotel is scheduled to open coming Thursday.
Hard Rock has said that they have been working on their proposal for over a year and a half and confirmed that if they are awarded the project it would take them about 24-26 months to complete the construction work. The company has said that it would invest up to $1 billion in the project.
