State-owned gambling operator Svenska Spel has launched its exclusive online gaming platform for its retail agents making it easy for them to sell their participation games to customers all over Sweden on the internet via spela.svenskaspel.se.
The facility would be available to all retail gaming agents affiliated with Svenska Spel Sport and Casino. In the initial stage, the games available areStryktipset, Europaatipset, Toptipset, Bomben, and Powerplay.
Commenting on the launch of the online gaming platform, Mathias Johansson, Partner Responsible Store, Svenska Spel Sport, and Casino, said: “Finally, the agents can get access to all the benefits of online sales and services and thus have a huge customer base to work with. Now we are talking multichannel fully when you can buy a share from any store, no matter where you are in the country.”
Last week, Svenska Spel confirmed the launch of Verisec’s Freja eIDtechnology. With the launch the company aims to boost its efforts to advance its customer identification processes.
Svenska Spel had partnered with the Freja eID back in May and with the integration complete the gambling operator has launched the new technology across its Svenska Spel Tur and at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino platforms.
With the new technology, customers who have previously been referred to a single e-ID, are now no longer locked to a specific login method. The move is also significant as the new laws which are to come into effect in Sweden from January call for licensed operators active in the country to use an e-ID to register customers in order to clarify their age and identity.
