NBA has inked a partnership deal with yet another sports betting operator, Draftkings.
Following the deal, Draftkings is now the official betting partner and an “authorized sports betting operator” of the NBA.
The NBA has also inked similar partnership deals with betting operators including MGM Resorts, Fox Bet, FanDuel and William Hill.
In a statement to the press, announcing the deal, Draftkings said that it is a multi-year partnership and as it would be NBA’s authorized betting operator Draftkings will have access to official NBA data.
The betting operator will also have exclusive rights to use official NBA branding on its betting app and at land-based sportsbooks.
Commenting on the deal, Scott Kaufman-Ross, senior vice president and head of fantasy & gaming at the NBA, said: “We are excited to team with DraftKings, which has established itself as one of the leaders in the sports betting landscape in the US and has a passionate NBA following.
“Our partnership will provide our fans with an authentic and enhanced gaming experience and help us further protect the integrity of our games.”
