Sports betting operators Draftkings and Sportradar have inked an extended partnership deal to expand their existing engagement.
According to the terms of the deal, Sportradar will provide DraftKings with access to official sports data feeds, including MLB, NBA and NFL feeds for both sports betting and daily fantasy sports.
In retrospect, Draftkings will also allow Sportradar to use its betting simulation tools.
Commenting on the deal, Neale Deeley, Vice President of US Sales and Gaming at Sportradar said: “We are proud to extend our partnership with DraftKings, one of the most respected gaming companies in the US. DraftKings’ journey into sports betting has been a fantastic success, and we have been honored to be on that journey with them. We look forward to continuing that success for many years to come.”
Ezra Kucharz, chief business officer at DraftKings stated: “DraftKings’ goal is to build the best, most trusted and most customer-centric destination for sports fans and our expanded partnership with Sportradar provides us with superior support.
“This partnership will enhance customer experience by allowing us to provide a faster turnaround time on our products and give us the opportunity to develop new, innovative offerings for our players.”
Last week, The Business Insider Italia report alleged Sportradar and its subsidiary Betradar had links to Malta-based sports betting operators who offered illegal betting services in Italy.
However, denying the allegations the betting operator termed it baseless and said that they are operating in full compliance with the country’s gambling laws. It also said that they have no links or ties to any illegal online gambling operator in the country.
