Betting technology and services provider SBTech has launched its sportsbook at Rising Star Casino. The new Sportsbook will operate under Churchill Downs’ BetAmerica brand.
Following the legalization of sports betting by the US Supreme Court, SBTech has launched its sportsbooks in six different states so far.
The sportsbook at Rivers casino will feature self-service kiosks, cashiers and a full bar. The operator has also revealed plans to launch an online and mobile sports betting platform.
“We are very excited to be entering the great state of Indiana,” said Melissa Riahei, president of SBTech US.
“Our on-property sportsbook product has been extremely successful to date, and we look forward to replicating that success for Rising Star Casino, in partnership with Churchill Downs.”
SBTech has also partnered with Orgon Lottery and recently it launched the state Lottery’s Scoreboard App. The app currently does not allow for betting on college-level sporting events.
It supports single-game bets, parlays and in-game wagers on professional sports only. It also requires bettors to be located within the state of Oregon and off tribal lands before wagers can be placed. Deposits up to $250,000 are allowed.
Oregon launched Sports betting operations in August. It became the 12th US state after Iowa to legalize sports betting operations.
