EveryMatrix To Get Into Gaming Development With Spearhead Studios

EveryMatrix is all set to explore the gaming development vertical with the launch of Spearhead Studios. The company recently acquired the gaming studio from online gambling operator and content provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG).

Commenting on the launch of Spearhead Studios, Ebbe Groes, Group Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder, said: “EveryMatrix is an established B2B brand and entering the game development sector was something which we wanted to do for some time now. Having a creative gaming studio led by a brilliant executive such as Mathias Larsson sets EveryMatrix apart in this competitive industry and we are confident that this combo is going to serve our clients and partners very well.

“The background for this acquisition is the tremendous success of our CasinoEngine product, which has strong synergies to Spearhead. However, we will keep the studio activity highly independent, winning market share on its own merits while staying true to our principles of full transparency and maximum coverage in CasinoEngine!”

Mathias Larsson, Managing Director of Spearhead Studios, commented: “I’m very excited to play a part in the launch of Spearhead Studios and continue the work we’ve already started. We have a very talented and highly skilled team which will prove successful in the years to come. Being part of such a thriving company as EveryMatrix will strengthen our offering to the market and will help Spearhead reach a bigger audience.”

Recently, the UK Gambling Commission suspended the B2C license online gambling content and services provider EveryMatrix.

The Gambling Commission published on its official website that it has initiated a review under Section 116 of the Gambling Act of 2005 into EveryMatrix Software Limited.

The Gambling Commission also said that investigation was launched after “compliance activity which included examining [EveryMatrix’s] customer interaction framework.”
