As such, the Swiss authorities also issued a blacklist of gambling operators who were catering to the Swiss Customers without required permissions. The first blocking of gambling operators came into effect on July 1, 2019.
In September the number of blocked websites was 65. However, once again in October, the Swiss Lottery and Betting Board (Comlot) added 16 new online gambling sites to the list of blacklisted online gambling portals making the number of blacklisted sites 81.
Now with the addition of 10 more gambling sites, the total number of sites blacklisted has gone up to 91.
Among those blacklisted are top gambling companies like Bet365, Betclic Everest Group, and Unibet. Several German brands including my bet, XTiP, and Cashpoint have also been put into a blacklist.
Esports betting operators such as Unikrn and GG.bet have also been blocked.
