Striking a significant strategic deal with Formula 1, online gaming and betting operator 188Bet has now become an official sponsor of the F1 motor-racing championship in Asia.
The deal is significant for the company given the repute of F1 racing event which has eyeballs popping at from motor and racing lovers from across the globe.
The sponsorship deal has been brokered by Interregional Sports Group (ISG). ISG also happens to be the main sponsorship agency for Formula 1. The deal makes 188Bet F1’s official Asia sponsor of the series.
Following the sponsorship deal, 188Bet’s logo and other designs would feature exclusively on the broadcast of the races across Asia. The deal will be valid for five years until the 2024 season.
188Bet’s branding will also be featured on virtual trackside advertising for races and it will also benefit from bespoke activation and integration across F1’s various digital and social platforms.
The deal also allows 188Bet exclusive ownership of F1 Play. It is an app that predicts winnings for sporting events in the Asia sports betting market. The company will have access to official Formula 1 data which is compiled by sports data aggregator firm Sportradar.
The deal with Formula 1 also confirms that 188Bet is strongly focussing on Asian markets. Earlier in March 2019, the operator had to stop operations temporarily in the UK and Ireland as it found hard to cope up with the competition and regulatory changes.
