Conor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor, the Irish professional mixed martial artist is back in the octagon for 2020 and placed at odds of Evens by bookmakers to knock-out Donald Cerrone, an American mixed martial artist and former professional kickboxer.
McGregor, who has not fought since his defeat by submission to Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018, is odds on favourite to win the UFC 246 bout at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday January 18th 2020.
Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone is the most recent out of the two to have competed with back to back losses in 2019 against Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje.
Cerrone is placed at odds of around 5/2 on average at leading online bookmakers, whereas the Irish welterweight is the favourite at best odds of 1/2 and 1/3 on average across more than ten top sportsbooks.
Out of Conor McGregor’s 21 wins, 18 have been by knock out by way of punches in almost all of his victories.
The Notorious is predicted to win in round 1 of the UFC 246 main event.
