It has been announced today that Usain Bolt, the Jamaican former sprinter and fastest man in the world has been approached by iGaming firm Ganapati and sealed a bid to secure a themed slot machine game in Bolt’s name.
Ganapati, the iGaming B2B brand, which was established in Japan in 2016 has offices in London, Tokyo and Los Angeles among others. The company has reported that it is working closely with Usain Bolt to develop the slots game to accurately reflect Bolt’s love of the sport, whilst providing an entertainment factor.
Usain Bolt is reportedly attending ICE London B2B gaming event in February 2020 ahead of the game release, which will come later this year to coincide with the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
ICE is a world renowned gaming event that brings together all aspects of the iGaming industry from game developers to casino providers.
Usain Bolt expressed his excitement over the deal:
“2020 not only welcomes the biggest sporting competition in the world, but an exciting new collaboration between myself and iGaming developer, Ganapati. I am proud to be teaming up with Ganapati to create my first ever official online slot game – Ganapati’s goal to produce innovative and creative content fits perfectly with my brand, making this partnership a natural one for me. Ganapati and I have been working on this together for some time now, and I look forward to sharing the final product with you all.”
Current Chief Executive Officer at Ganapati Malta Limited Juliet Adelstein commented on what the deal means to the company:
“This partnership between Ganapati and Usain Bolt is hugely exciting and represents just how big we have grown in such a short space of time. Usain has worked closely with us to create this special game and neither of us can wait to release the official Usain Bolt slot game later this year.”
The game comes just months after Ganapati released the official slot game of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao; Pacquiao One Punch KO.
