Latest betting odds updated Friday 17th January 2020 suggest that Gareth Bale could be set for a shock return to his former English Premier League Club Tottenham Hotspur before the January transfer window closes.
Gareth Bale, who is now aged 30, moved from White Hart Lane in 2013 and has since scored 80 goals in 167 games for Real.
As rumours surround players Boubakary Soumare of French Ligue 1 club Lille, Jadon Sancho, Adama Traore, Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen all on the target list of Real Madrid, odds have been slashed on Gareth Bale leaving the Santiago Bernabeu, with Spurs favourite to sign the six time Welsh Footballer of the Year.
Following a period of illness, which left Bale absent from the Real Madrid squad, Bale’s future could be indicated by whether or not he makes an appearance in tomorrow’s match at the Bernabeu against Sevilla.
According to reports, odds have also been slashed on Chelsea player Ross Barkley joining West Ham this month as the hammers look favourites to sign the former Everton player, who has scored just 3 goals for Chelsea since signing for the London Blues.
If the move takes place, Barkley will be reunited with his former coach David Moyes at West Ham, who are currently at a struggling 16th position in the English Premier League.
Other odds that have been updated today include; Edinson Cavani to Athletico Madrid, Christian Eriksen to Inter Milan, Mesut Ozil to Turkish side Fenerbahce, Neymar to return to Barcelona and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane to Real Madrid.
