USA – It has been reported today that the Lucky Dollar Casino in Louisiana, on the west bank of the Mississippi River, has been broken in to by masked suspects in the early hours of Friday last week.
Currently, the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, which preserves the public peace,and protects property and prevent crime in the area, is looking for the two masked thugs, who broke in to the casino establishment and committed armed robbery.
The casino suffered a break in at around 3 o clock in the morning and officials reported that the two thieves were dressed in dark clothing with masks on and entered the establishment by smashing the front door, which is made of glass.
A security guard was confronted by the thugs with a handgun and forced their way in to the cashier area.
It is not yet clear how much the armed robbers got away with as they fled the scene via the rear of the casino.
Lucky Dollar Casino states that it is usually a relaxed venue for patrons to relax and enjoy themselves by wagering on a number of casino games, including video poker.
Video poker is one of the most popular games in the state of Louisiana with thousands of dollars wagered every month.
It is not public knowledge how much cash is kept on site at the casino establishment and whether the nights takings were accessible.
The cashier of the casino is responsible for transactions that take place between customers and the house casino, including handling cash that can be exchanged for casino chips.
