USA – An American multinational hospitality firm; Hilton, a global brand of full-service hotels and resorts, has today announced that it has partnered with the Genting Group; a casino resort firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to develop a new Las Vegas resort; Resorts World Las Vegas.
Hilton is a privately held company that is part of Hilton Worldwide Holdings Incorporated and one of the largest hotel brands in the world. The deal that has been struck will see the 100 year old company bring together three of its brands; Conrad, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and LXR.
Resorts World Las Vegas is currently being constructed and developed in Las Vegas and has a planned opening date of 2021.
President, Global Development, Architecture, Design & Construction at Hilton since 2006 Ian Carter commented on the announcement:

“This will mark our largest multi-brand deal in company history, and we are excited to work with our new partners to create a distinct hotel experience in an unbeatable location for our future guests and Hilton Honours members.”
President of Resorts World Las Vegas since May 2019 Scott Sibella shared similar sentiments:

Scott Sibella was previously the president and chief operating officer of the MGM Grand.
The new resort will be based in Winchester, Nevada on the Las Vegas Boulevard. It will have an Asian theme and feature more than three thousand hotel rooms and a casino gaming area of more than 100k square feet.
