Popular online poker cardroom; PokerStars, has today announced the introduction and full rollout implementation of its side bets feature on real money gaming platforms.
PokerStars, owned and operated by The Stars Group, a Canadian gaming and online gambling company headquartered in Toronto, is the largest real money online poker site in the world.
Poker players can access the side bets feature through downloadable poker clients for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
Following the testing period of poker side bets, it is reported that PokerStars has now fully implemented the feature, which allows players to wager on a number of different outcomes during gameplay.
Apart from Zoom Poker Games, Bets can be placed during a game of poker, such as next card dealt and card suit on all PokerStars Texas Hold’em tables.
The side bet window is available to all players sitting at a table and can be accessed with a single click or touch of their screen.
When a wager is placed, the money is taken from the players’ account balance, rather than the current chip count during gameplay.
PokerStars regularly pushes the boundaries of online poker with new revolutionary features rarely found on other poker sites. Two years ago the firm introduced PokerStars VR; a virtual reality poker game experience, which proved very popular with poker fans. PokerStars hosts more than 15,000 players every day who engage in real money poker games such as Texas hold ’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo (8 or Better), Courchevel, Stud, Stud Hi/Lo (8 or Better), Razz and Five-card draw.
