Macau – It has been announced today that an integrated resort development firm in Macau; Sands China, has appointed a new chief operating officer; Grant Chum Kwan Lock.
Grant Chum Kwan Lock joined the organisation in 2013 as Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Strategy.
Before joining Sands China, the new COO worked at UBS Investment Bank, a firm that provides services covering securities, other financial products, and research in equities, rates, credit, foreign exchange, precious metals and derivatives.
The new appointee will take on the executive role at the subsidiary of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation; an American casino and resort company based in Nevada, USA, effective immediately.
Until the newly appointed chief operating officer, the role was taken up by current president of the company; Wilfred Wong Ying Wai, who was reappointed to the role.
Wilfred Wong Ying Wai has been the president of the firm since 2015.
The re-appointment of the firm’s president and new appointment to COO was announced today in a company filing in Hong Kong.
It has also been reported that Sands China’s current company secretary; Dylan James Williams, has been appointed general counsel, in which he will report directly to the chief executive officer and oversee and identifying the legal issues in all departments at the firm.
