UK – Multinational gaming technology firm International Game Technology, otherwise known as IGT, has today announced that it has signed a mobile sportsbook app deal with Circa Sports.

The deal will see Circa Sports launch its sports betting service through the IGT PlaySports platform; a flexible B2B sports betting platform that is already live in 11 US states and provides world-class trading, book management, operations and marketing.

Chief executive officer of Circa Sports Derek Stevens commented on the partnership:

“We look forward to introducing patrons and sports fans in Colorado to the excitement of Vegas-style sports betting through the Circa Sports Colorado mobile app. IGT is the ideal partner for our sports betting expansion. The IGT PlaySports platform continues to prove its ability to support world-class sports betting operations across the U.S., and I am confident it will enable us to quickly differentiate Circa Sports in Colorado and beyond.”

IGT PlaySports is currently powering sports betting across 11 U.S. states and at venues ranging from commercial and tribal-run casinos to lottery-run destinations and a high-profile racetrack.

IGT PlayDigital Senior Vice President Enrico Drago said:

“Together with Circa Sports, IGT will expand its PlaySports footprint into Colorado, another U.S. state with compelling sports betting growth opportunities for IGT and our customers. Circa Sports is a forward-thinking sports betting provider and we look forward to helping them realize their vision of entertaining users with leading multi-state sports betting experiences through our PlaySports technology and services.”

Earlier this year, Circa Sports announced plans to launch its mobile app for Colorado in partnership with Century Casinos.
