Annihilator Slot By Play'n GO - Review

Thrash metal band Annihilator and their legendary guitarist Jeff Waters are taking over the reels in Playn GO’s latest slot Annihilator!

Annihilator is a tribute to the band and their influence on metal in their three decades of making music. The game includes several awesome features, plus some of the band’s greatest hits.

The in-game symbols are based around the band and their music; with 3 HPs and 5 Lps on the reel strips. The HPs are represented by Alice and her doll Clare (a popular character from their early hits), Jeff Waters iconic Epiphone “Annihilator II” guitar and an image inspired by their self-titled 2010. The LPs on the reels are stylised royal flush card values.

There are two Wilds in the game; both are animated Wilds in the form of Jeff Waters shredding on his guitar, but one is an expanded version of the Wild which will cover the whole reel during special features.

There are also two Scatter symbols; the standard Scatter represented by the demon from their “Refresh the Demon” album and a Bonus Scatter in the form of the doll, Clare.

The game has three special features for players to enjoy; In Command, Fun Palace and Set the World on Fire.

In Command

Triggered randomly in the base game, In Command will allow any Wild on the current spin to expand on the reels. Re-Spins will be awarded until a winning combination and/or a feature trigger lands on the reels. Any subsequent Wilds that land during spins will also become expanded and stick on the reel for the re-spins.

Fun Palace

Fun Palace is triggered by landing three Bonus Scatters on the reels. Once triggered it will transport the player into the Fun Palace where they must click and pick from a variety of Clare dolls, each one hiding a different instant prize based around the player’s total bet, and also a chance to trigger free spins.

Set the World on Fire

Triggered either by landing three Scatter symbols on the reels or through Fun Palace, it will award an initial eight free spins.
On every free spin, Jeff Waters will appear as an extended Wild Symbol, moving across the reels and leaving a trail of fire behind him. If a Wild symbol lands in the trail of fire, the entire trail will become Wilds.
If a standard Scatter symbol lands on the reels during Free Spins, the player will be awarded an extra two spins.
