USA – Las Vegas based Maverick Gaming has today announced that it is acquiring two properties; Eldorado Resort Casino in Shreveport and MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Nevada.
Eldorado Resort Casino is the only AAA Four Diamond Resort in Shreveport and features over 1,400 state-of-the-art slot machines and 50 table games.
MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa is a hotel and casino located in Stateline, Nevada and includes a 48,456 square foot casino.
Owner of Maverick Gaming Eric Persson commented on the acquisition:
“At this time it is more important for Maverick to nurture and protect their existing assets than it is to expand our asset base. They are great assets, and in a normal environment, we would be very excited to own them.”
Persson, former President and General Manager of Aruze Gaming, has over 19 years of gaming industry experience added:
“We have worked closely with our lenders and our existing cash position gives us adequate liquidity through the first quarter of 2021 without additional action.
We like everyone else, look forward to the day our economy can restart again, our valued Maverick employees can start working, and our company can start to compete.”
Maverick Gaming currently owns and operates a portfolio of 27 properties across Nevada, Washington and Colorado with a total of 1800 slot machines, 350 table games, 1020 hotel rooms and 30 restaurants.
