Owner and operator of two popular online casino and gaming websites; Gaming Innovation Group, has announced that it has struck a new partnership deal with Playtech to offer its iPoker product to customers of its brands.
Playtech iPoker is one of the leading poker networks in the UK and in many other major countries, whereby over thirty-thousand players enjoy a user friendly poker client on desktop or mobile. In addition, the network offers an extensive choice of poker games to play with tournaments, achievements, leader boards and freerolls.
The deal, which involves the integration of Playtech’s world-renowned poker platform is developed using the latest technology with HTML5 poker games that are accessible from a number of device operating systems, including Windows, IOS and Android.
Shimon Akad of Playtech spoke about the new partnership:
“We’re delighted to partner with GiG and welcome them to our iPoker network. Having invested heavily in our new poker web client, in addition to our native poker app and popular downloadable desktop poker client, together Playtech and GiG can offer operators access to an exceptionally flexible platform as well as an ever-growing network. GiG is an important strategic partner for us and we look forward to continuing to work with them to bring industry-leading technology to the sector.”
Playtech’s revolutionary poker platform makes use of some of the most powerful and efficient player retention tools that is designed to increase spend effectiveness and extend the lifespan of its system by creating personalised player experiences.
Ben Clemes of Gaming Innovation Group commented on the deal:
“We are excited to have partnered with Playtech in entering the poker betting vertical. The integration of Playtech’s iPoker product with our iGaming platform allows us to further extend our betting options and enables our partners to offer a strong poker betting player experience. As part of the process, we added to our micro services, which gives us the ability to scale and integrate with other third-party poker providers in the future – providing our partners with more flexibility and choice.”
According to reports, the move comes as a surprise to many in the iGaming industry as just last year, Gaming Innovation Group, sold its ‘High Roller’ brand to Ellmount Gaming with the view to focus purely on growing the firm’s two primary brands: Rizk and Guts.
The news of the partnership comes less than 24 hours after the Gaming Innovation Group was nominated for ‘Platform of the Year’ at the 2020 EGR Global virtual awards along with ‘Data Analytics Partner’ and ‘Acquisition and Retention Partner’.
