The news of the re-opening follows two previous property re-openings last week; Century Downs Racetrack and Century Casino St. Albert in Alberta, Canada, in which the firm re-opened its onsite restaurant whilst it waits for approval of its casino re-opening.
In order to ensure the safety of patrons and staff, the company has implemented a series of comprehensive measures for health and safety to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Century Casinos said:
“We are excited to say “Welcome Back”! While you were away we were anxiously preparing for your return. We are proud to welcome you back responsibly with precautions in place to promote good health while making sure that the excitement you’ve been waiting for is ready for you.
During the first phase of opening, please note that our operations will be somewhat limited in order to help protect your health and safety. Our hours of operation will be 10:00AM to 2:00AM daily. Our table games will open beginning at Noon on June 4.”
In addition, Century Casinos is liaising with local health boards and state regulators to ensure specific safety measures are in place for each individual state and that social distancing protocols are adhered to.
Century Casinos is currently situated in Colorado but operates a number of casino properties in various US states along with properties in the United Kingdom and Poland, Europe.
Covid-19 measures released by the firm include:
- We encourage you to wear a face mask.
- Anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be allowed entry.
- Additional hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the casino.
- Clear barriers have been placed in key areas.
- Practice social distancing. Refer to signage for distancing guides.
Notable properties include: Century Casino Bath, Century Casino Calgary, Century Casino Edmonton and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino.
