International Entertainment Corporation, a Hong Kong based business established in 1998, has announced that it is looking to develop a new casino at its property in The Philippines with integrated resort plans and proposals.
The company, which owns and operates a number of establishments in the Philippines and Macau, including a deluxe casino hotel in Metro Manila, the Philippines consisting of 32-floor luxury hotel tower with over 370 guest rooms and gaming facility, has stated that is to apply for a license from gaming regulator in the Philippines PAGCOR.
PAGCOR, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, overseas and regulates all gambling activities in the country.
According to reports, International Entertainment Corporation is planning a potential casino and integrated resorts proposal at its New Coast Hotel Manila property.
New Coast Hotel Manila currently has 288 guestrooms and suites and offers a full range of amenities and services, including an executive lounge, restaurants, meetings and events facilities, club floors, along with other wellness and recreational centres.
The news comes just hours after International Entertainment Corporation announced the sale of Wigan Athletic FC, an English professional association football club based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England.
The firm stated: ‘There are areas of misalignment in expectations which we feel may hinder our partnership going forward. Combining with the outbreak of the COVID-19 has created more uncertainty around the financial position of the EFL and the football business as a whole’.
