Harrah's Resort Atlantic City Hotel And Casino Welcomes Back Guests Following Covid-19 Closure

Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment, has officially welcomed back guests today following a closure period due to Covid-19.

In accordance with Executive Orders from the Governor of New Jersey, the property hosted a ‘ribbon cutting’ ceremony out of the Boardwalk earlier today, along with Caesars’ other venue Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

Both casinos have been shuttered for more than one-hundred days and today marks a milestone re-opening moment as both employees and guests return for the first time.

Ron Baumann of Caesars Entertainment Atlantic City commented on the re-opening and welcoming back of guests to its casino and hotel:

“Today is an exciting day because we get to welcome back our team members and guests to Caesars, Harrah’s Resort and Bally’s and look forward to making new memories together.

Our health and safety protocols are at the forefront of our signature brand of hospitality, while continuing to offer a fun and enjoyable experience for guests.”

Baumann continued to share his views on the re-openings and what patrons can expect at the properties under the new safety measures:

“At the same time, we are excited to launch a first for us – al fresco dining experiences at each resort, starting today, just in time for the holiday weekend.

We are looking forward to a great summer here in Atlantic City. Now more than ever, AC is a great getaway escape for those living within driving distance of the destination. Whether it’s the beautiful beach and boardwalk here at Caesars & Bally’s or Harrah’s Resort in the Marina District, we have something for everyone.”

Caesars Entertainment operates some of the largest gaming floors in Atlantic City. Players of gaming machines and table games can expect to see rearranged slot machine layouts to account for social distancing and less seats for people to sit at in order to provide more spacing around table games such as blackjack, roulette and craps.

The corporation has stated that the health and safety remains an important priority and that the aim is to ensure that hotel guests and casino players have a fun and enjoyable experience.
