Covid-19 Contactless Key Developed For Casinos And Slot Machines

It has been announced today that a metal shop situated in Dallas, USA, has developed a new contactless and touch-free key for use within the gaming industry.

The small metal key features a keyring attachment so that players can carry it with them at all times during their stay at casino hotels and when playing games on the casino floor.

In addition, the key has a ring near the base for a finger to insert and comfortably hold the key.

Reportedly, the new key from firm NoContactKey is the number one hygiene tool for many businesses within the hospitality industry and allowing companies to resume operation after the Covid-19 shutdown period.

Don Douglas of NoContactKey spoke out about the key and why it is a must have for many casinos:

“Be sure that the casino you play at is serious about your safety against COVID-19.

Are you planning on visiting a casino? Despite the improvements in the situation, people are still getting infected and virus transmission is still happening.

Therefore, you need to make sure the casino is taking the precautions to ensure your safety.

Having a NoContactKey, your personal no contact germ utility tool along with the key-card of your room means, you don’t have to use your hands to press the elevator buttons, open doors or touch slot machines.

If you are at a casino and have a NoContactKey, then playing at the slot machines for hours won’t be an issue.

You can keep on playing without worrying about touching shared surfaces and transmitting germs.”

Although the metal shop is encouraging residents to purchase their own key, it is believed that many casino establishments are investing in the touch-free keys so that they can be sold or provided complimentary to guests upon their arrival.
