Kindred Group To Provide Betting And Gaming In Ohio And Illinois

The Kindred Group, online gambling operator of more than ten high profile brands around the world, has announced today that it is to provide sports betting and casino gaming services in the state of Ohio And Illinois subject to passing applicable laws and licensing requirements.

The gaming group has struck a new partnership deal with Penn National Gaming, an American operator of casinos and racetracks based in Pennsylvania, and will use the new based to embark on a new digital expansion across US regulated gambling markets.

The Kindred Group has secured further market access in the United States after successfully entering regulated markets in Indiana, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Next Target

Manuel Stan of the Kindred Group spoke out about the firm’s latest move:

“Extending our footprint in the US by establishing our brand in two key states like Illinois and Ohio is very exciting for us.

We continue our journey in what we believe will become the largest gambling market in the world.

Putting Illinois and Ohio on the list together with New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Indiana, shows our commitment to establishing Unibet in the US.

Illinois is one of the largest US states and it will be the next State that we are targeting to launch.”


This latest deal covers activity and operations for the next ten years and will see one of Kindreds most popular and prominent brands; Unibet, be licensed to operate in Illinois and Ohio at the venues of Argosy Casino Alton and Hollywood Casino respectively.

As the gaming giant continues to grow and expand in to International regulated markets, the firm is investing in its United States operations, where the business model is more sustainable.

According to reports, the Kindred Group will leverage Pala Interactive’s Online Gaming Platform and integrate with sports betting provider Kambi.
