As part of a Safer Gambling Commitment announced last year, the Betting and Gaming Council detailed a new set of regulations that would be introduced to the gaming industry in due course and is now at a point where the new measures will come in to force.

- Minimum Game Cycle Speed – min. 2.5 seconds game cycle speed required.
- Removal of Turbo Play – features enabling to speed up the base game cycle will be removed.
- Removal of Base Game Slam Stops – features enabling to end the base game before it naturally concluded will be removed.
- Removal of Multi-Slot Play within a Single Gaming Client – features enabling to place multiple, separate stakes on multiple slots games within single gaming client will be removed.
