It has been announced today that a new retail sportsbook venue; Betfred USA Sports, has opened in the state of Pennsylvania at the Wind Creek Bethlehem, a casino hotel located in the Bethlehem Works development site in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA.
The opening of the new sportsbook is a US first for Wind Creek and marks a significant milestone for Betfred, becoming its third location in the US alongside Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa and Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.
COO of Betfred USA Sports Bryan Bennett commented on the opening:
“We’re extremely excited about our partnership with Wind Creek Hospitality and couldn’t be happier with the launch of our third US-based sportsbook in one year.
Pennsylvania is a massive sports betting market, and we look forward to making Wind Creek Bethlehem a go-to destination for sports bettors.”
Earlier this year, before the Covid-19 pandemic took a hold, Wind Creek Bethlehem agreed a deal with Betfred USA Sports to collaborate for the launch of the sports betting venue on-site, which includes ‘two state-of-the-art video walls, 31 individual TVs, three betting windows and eight self-service betting kiosks’.
In addition, bettors who enter the venue can also sit in multiple viewing areas and partake in beverages and food at the on-site sports pub.
President & CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality Jay Dorris also shared comments on the collaboration and new opportunity for guests:
“Opening the Sportsbook at Wind Creek Bethlehem provides yet another exciting gaming opportunity for our Guests.
Partnering with Betfred USA Sports will allow us to bring a first-class sports betting experience in a high energy environment to the property.”
The grand opening of the venue is scheduled for the 21st November 2020 and the two companies will use the date as an opportunity to welcome invited guests and introduce the new venue to the local community.
In addition to the retail sportsbook, owners Wind Creek Hospitality and Betfred USA Sports will also be collaborating on a new digital betting offering with the launch of a new mobile application that will allow residents in the Keystone State to wager on sports on-the-move or from the comfort of their own homes on a variety of sports betting markets, including: NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB and Soccer among others.
