Sustainable Business Award For International Game Technology

International Game Technology, provider of Gaming Machines, Lotteries, Sports Betting and Digital platforms, has today announced that it has won the Sustainable Business Award at the 2020 Industry Community Awards for gaming industry suppliers.

The award this year brings recognition to individuals and companies within the gaming industry that have ‘gone above and beyond in helping others and in tackling major issues brought on by the [Covid-19] pandemic’.

Valuing our People, Advancing Responsibility, Supporting our Communities, and Fostering Sustainable Operations are the core four key pillars that the firm was honoured for in receiving the award.

IGT SVP Global Brand, Marketing and Communications Wendy Montgomery commented on the award:

“IGT’s commitment to sustainable business practices guides our every action and continues to create value for our employees, customers and stakeholders.

IGT winning the ‘Sustainable Business Award’ in the 2020 Industry Community Awards is a reflection of our company-wide dedication to supporting our people and the communities where we do business, and a byproduct of the hard work and focus of our global workforce.”

The global gaming giant is committed to sustainable business practices and always ensures that its stakeholders, customers and staff receive value from its operations.

In addition, whilst the company continues to support communities and individuals where it is active, the award reflects on the ‘hard work’ and ‘focus’ of its team members around the world.

On the official website of International Game Technology, there are segments dedicated to its leadership in corporate social responsibility (CSR) along with access to its most recent reports. Many points from the reports are taken in to consideration when awarding the Sustainable Business Award from the Industry Community Awards, which are produced by the same organization responsible for the annual International Gaming Awards and the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards.
