DraftKings Signs Multi-Year Nashville Predators Deal

Leading online and mobile betting and daily fantasy sports provider DraftKings has announced that it has signed a new multi-year deal with The Nashville Predators, a professional ice hockey team based in Nashville, Tennessee.

The deal means the sports betting and fantasy sports provider will become the official sports betting operator of the NHL side, that plays its home games at the Bridgestone Arena.

This signing comes after DraftKings expanded in to Tennessee and launched its efficient and innovative mobile sportsbook app.

As a relatively new entrant to the world of sports and gaming, a multi-year deal between the two will bring about a gold standard in sports betting technology for fans and state residents alike.

In addition, by adding DraftKings as its official sports betting operator, the National Hockey League team is hoping to boost engagement with fans and bring people closer to the game in the region.

As part of the link-up, fans of the Nashville Predators will have access to a range of deals and promotions available via the app, including deposit bonuses and ongoing promotions.

EVP & Chief Revenue Officer, Nashville Predators Chris Junghans shared his comments:

“As soon as the Tennessee Sports Gaming Act was passed in April, we immediately began our search for an experienced sports betting partner.

With legal sports betting now live in Tennessee, we are thrilled to announce our formal relationship with industry-leading DraftKings. Through this multi-year agreement, Predators fans across the state will have access to the GOLD STANDARD of sports betting information technology, which provides a competitive, reliable and responsible platform.

According to reports, DraftKings will introduce a series of branding materials and content throughout Bridgestone Arena, which includes static boards, virtual signage and TV advertisements on Preds game broadcasts.

Furthermore, the online and mobile sportsbook branding will be visible across digital and social media channels along with a ‘presence’ in the newsletter: This Week in Smashville.

Chief Business Officer, DraftKings Ezra Kucharz concluded with details of the deal and why it was made:
