It has been announced today that the largest casino in the Caribbean and leading resort in The Bahamas; Baha Mar, is to begin offering a private jet service or free complimentary stays for guests who test positive for Coronavirus before departure from the resort.
The new program, named Travel with Confidence, has been launched to provide future guests with peace of mind and security to alleviate any fears of enjoying a break at the resort.
In the event of a guest testing positive for the virus that has shook the world, they will be offered a private jet back to the USA or a free complimentary stay of two weeks at the resort with a daily dining credit of $150 per person whilst in quarantine.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, it is natural that people have concerns about travelling and are fearful of going on holiday or vacation.
Therefore, this program is designed to provide the absolutely most peace of mind possible to guests whilst ensuring the health and safety is paramount.
The program allows guests to feel safe and comfortable with the option of extending their time at the resort should a diagnosis occur. However, if guests need or wish to return home to the United States they will be able to do so using the private jet service completely free of charge.
President of the Baha Mar Graeme Davis commented on the service announcement:
In this ever-changing travel environment, it is our goal to alleviate travelers’ concerns surrounding COVID-19, in an effort to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our guests.
Our Travel with Confidence program is the first of its kind in the industry, providing travelers with added peace of mind and the option to safely return home, or quarantine at no added expense – the choice is theirs.
This initiative from the Caribbean resort shows that it is adapting to the new normal surrounding the ongoing pandemic.
It allows guests to feel safe whilst providing them with a rapid testing service upon arrival and before they leave the resort to return home.
As part of enhanced safety measures and precautions, mandatory masks will be required in public areas and social distancing will be practised along with cleaning protocols in hotels, communal areas and on the casino floor.
The casino at the resort reopened in December last year following a prolonged shutdown period.
Furthermore, players can be part of the Club Blu membership scheme for fantastic rewards when playing casino games, including video poker, at the resort venue. The card is free and also provides exclusive deals on tournaments and events.
