It has been announced today that a new online casino is to go live in the US states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The new casino, which goes under the brand name of Stardust Online Casino, is a new real money gaming site from Boyd Gaming and FanDuel.
Boyd Gaming and FanDuel have joined forces to mark the return of real money gaming operations and are anticipating a go live date next month in April 2021, subject to regulatory approval.
According to reports, Betfair Casino, which is already active in The Garden State and operated by FanDuel, will be rebranded under the Stardust Online Casino banner.
The rebrand of Betfair to Stardust will coincide with the launch of the brand in the Keystone State and a single mobile app will be launched for IOS and Android devices in both states.
A popular casino brand
For almost fifty years, Stardust was a casino brand that was well-known in America, particularly Las Vegas, and was one of the most popular and attended casinos in the region.
Despite the brand being out of sight and off the market for over ten years, the relaunch of the brand again on digital platforms will spark major interest and trigger many memories for residents in the US.
By linking-up with FanDuel, Boyd Gaming will be launching its first real money casino online and will hit the gaming market at full pace as it looks to capitalise on the fast-growing market and allow the brand to further connect with players.
The proprietary front-end interface from FanDuel is what the new online casino will be developed and integrated on, along with mobile applications and player account management.
Features that players love
Reportedly, the loyalty program from Boyd Gaming, B Connected, will be firmly integrated in to the online casino in both states and allow customers to earn points and credits to be used on Stardust Online Casino.
Going live on the primary dot com domain of the brand name, the gambling operators are highlighting the benefits of Stardust Casino’s key features, including a wide selection of favourite games from online slots to video poker to roulette, blackjack and live dealer titles.
In addition, players will have the option to cash out winnings quickly and securely and receive top level support from the operator should they need it.
Furthermore, as part of an ongoing and consistent commitment to responsible gambling, the two corporations will provide a number of player account protections to ensure players gamble responsibly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
President of FanDuel Group Amy Howe commented on the news:
The new Stardust Casino will retain all of the great games that customers love on Betfair Casino, while incorporating a new stylish look that captures the glitz, glamour and nostalgia of old Las Vegas.
Stardust Casino allows us to take a market leading product to the next level, creating a unified platform across New Jersey and Pennsylvania and integrating Boyd Gaming’s B Connected player loyalty program to provide even more value to our customers.
President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming Keith Smith also commented on the new online casino launch and revamped brand image:
For nearly 50 years, the Stardust was one of the most famous casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.
And while the resort has been gone for more than a decade, the Stardust brand is still as well-known and popular as ever.
We are excited to work with our partners at FanDuel to launch our first real-money online casinos and are confident this legendary brand will give us a significant advantage in connecting with players looking for a distinctive online gaming experience.
