Following the announcement that Flutter Entertainment and one of the leading gambling technology companies across the globe Playtech have extended their existing agreement, it is clear to see the mutually advantageous factors.
The extended contracts is for a period of five years and will cover the gambling operators core brands of Betfair, Sky Casino and Paddy Power.
This means that, as with the current arrangement, Playtech will supply the gambling sites with a range of its products and services across online gambling and live casino verticals.
As well as providing Flutter Entertainment’s casino brands with gambling products, the games provider is constantly looking to raise the bar within the gaming industry to ensure that responsible gambling and safer gambling are the heart of each operation within active jurisdictions.
In fact, the developer has created an industry first code of conduct in safer game design, which aims to promote the development of games such as slots and table games in a safe manner with integrated tools and protocols.
Such code of conduct can be applied to the entire gaming industry and followed by other independent games studios during the development process.
Some of the biggest brands in online gambling
As a long-term provider of casino games, Playtech has been supplying Flutter Entertainment’s brands with a wide range of titles for players to enjoy for many years. This latest agreement extension builds on that relationship to continue providing players with games that they not only find entertaining, but create a top-level experience with integrated retention and acquisition qualities.
Playtech is one of the biggest brand names within the iGaming industry and is also one of the longest running. Its range of games are unrivalled and titles within the PlaytechOne platform are extremely popular in the UK and other parts of Europe.
The range of video slots from the Age of the Gods series are currently some of the most played games on the gaming market.
With a proven track record, Playtech is continuing its long term relationship with Flutter Entertainment and its range of products will remain active to many European players.
Sky Casino, Betfair and Paddy Power are also three of the most trusted and reputable operator brands in the gambling industry and the range of live dealer games are provided by Playtech.
The dedicated studios allow players of the operator sites to live stream games such as live roulette and blackjack direct from the exclusive and dedicated live Playtech studios in real-time.
A new live casino offering from Sky Vegas is expected to launch in the first half of this year.
Leading software and operators
Flutter Entertainment has stated that it is happy with the extension and that it can continue to offer its players access to casino software from one of the world’s leading providers. The existing partnership with Playtech has been extremely successful and proven to bring an entertaining experience to player devices.
Chief Operating Officer at Playtech Shimon Akad commented on the partnership extension and highlighted what it will mean for both parties:
Flutter is one of Playtech’s key strategic partners, and so this new long-term agreement to supply our innovative software and services across four key product verticals is significant.
This is testament to the long standing and strong relations between Flutter and Playtech, and we look forward to continuing to work with Flutter in its core markets to support Paddy Power, Betfair and Sky Casino over the next five years.
Overall, Flutter Entertainment’s online casino brands will continue to provide access to top Playtech games like Kingdoms Rise, Age of the Gods and Stallion Strike, whilst Playtech is continuing to distribute its titles to some of the leading gambling operator sites in the world.
