NFL Play-offs to get underway as Packers emerge as Super Bowl favourites

The NFL Play-offs are to get underway this weekend and the Green Bay Packers have emerged as favourites to win this year’s Super Bowl.

NFL Wild Card round kicks off on the 15h January with the Bengals taking on the Raiders, following with plenty of other heavyweight clashes in the following days.

But according to leading sportsbooks around the world, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Buffalo Bills are the top three favourites to win Super Bowl 56, which takes place on Sunday 13th February 2022.

According to betting odds tracking organisation TheLines, there is a ‘crowded field’ in this year’s championship and there is a reason why the favourites are out in front.

When you look at the at top favourites to win the Super Bowl right now, you see elite quarterback play or home-field advantage, or both.

While the Packers and Chiefs are the favourites, the stage is set for a dramatic play-off scene this year.

And with the game’s biggest names like Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers at the forefront, this will be a huge play-off run for bettors and sportsbooks.

Online betting has opened the market on the 2022 Super Bowl.

Although odds are subject to fluctuate in the coming weeks, particularly after Wild Card Weekend, the Packers, Chiefs and Bills are currently at odds of 7/2, 4/1 and 7/1 respectively.

Super Bowl LVI is the 56th championship and is set to take place in California at the SoFi Stadium.
