It has been announced today that online casino product provider Everi Holdings is to acquire strategic assets of Australia-based Atlas Gaming and Atlas Gaming Technologies.
The acquisition is expected to close before the end of the first quarter of 2022 and will allow Everi to grow and expand on its current operations in games development and digital casino solutions.
According to report, the digital and land-based provider will use the acquisition to increase its global footprint by entering new international gaming markets in various parts of the world.
The team at Atlas Gaming will join Everi as part of the agreement and use their expertise and experience to assist the provider on its product roadmap journey, creating additional gambling content for Everi’s existing and upcoming audiences.
Australia is a massive digital and land-based market in the gambling world with huge potential to grow and expand, a market that Everi will be keen to build on.
Dean Ehrlich of Everi Holdings commented on the acquisition and what future plans are in store post-transaction:
We are excited to welcome members of the talented and experienced Atlas team to Everi.
We look forward to Atlas’ game developers and engineers bringing a global perspective that will help us execute a more robust product roadmap and support our growth strategy of delivering best-in-class content.
This transaction strengthens Everi’s development capabilities and will further bolster the future expansion and differentiation of our gaming products.
We expect to leverage the Atlas development team and purchased assets to provide more original content for our current customer base while creating an opportunity to further penetrate the markets Atlas has historically served, including Australia.
Atlas Gaming is currently one of the largest suppliers of land-based casino games in Australia, with cabinets among some of the most popular in the country. Top games include Majestic Kingdom, Outback Country, League of Ages, Diamond Pays and Dragon’s Gate.
Across the pond in North America, the brand also boasts an impressive portfolio of titles, including Treasure Gods, Incredible Phoenix, Chili Kings and Treasure Stacks.
