WynnBET to go live with sports betting in Louisiana pending regulatory approval

Leading online sports betting operator WynnBET has announced today that it will soon go live in the state of Louisiana pending regulatory approval.

Today, the sportsbook and online casino operator announced that account pre-registration and depositing is now available to residents in the Pelican State as the brand will launch in the very near future.

WynnBET, part of Wynn Interactive, is the legal sports betting platform from leading casino operator in the United States, known for its six properties including Encore Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor.

The sportsbook is looking to build on the solid foundations of its sports betting services in America and is looking to increase its footprint substantially during the first quarter of 2022.

In addition to Louisiana, WynnBET is looking to also go live in New York and Iowa pending regulatory approval, which will take the operators active states to a total of ten, allowing the sportsbook to welcome new customers from across America.

This news means that once approved for legal sports betting and gaming, Louisianans will be able to join WynnBET alongside other US residents that are already enjoying the operators high-quality products in states such as Arizona, Colorado, New Jersey and Indiana.

According to reports, the sportsbook is planning to launch an exclusive offer for new customers in the Pelican State, starting with a pre-registration promotion of $250 in free bets when they place a bet of just $10, once the operator is permitted to accept wagers.

As part of the marketing programme and to promote the betting provider’s products in Louisiana, the launch will be ‘anchored’ by former professional basketball player ‘Shaq’ (Shaquille O’Neal), who is a brand ambassador for WynnBET.

Ian Williams of Wynn Interactive commented on the news and what it means to the company:

WynnBET’s launch in Louisiana is just the beginning of an exciting few months for our company as we significantly increase our footprint during the first quarter of 2022.

Pending regulatory approval, we will also soon be launching our online sportsbook in New York and Iowa, expanding the number of states players can enjoy our platform from seven to 10.

We look forward to welcoming new customers from across the country to WynnBET in the coming weeks.
