Multi-Year Partnership Extension for NHL and BetMGM

It has been announced that the NHL, BetMGM and MGM Resorts International have signed a partnership extension spanning multiple years ahead of the Honda NHL All-Star Weekend that takes place at the MGM Resorts operated T-Mobile Arena.

The partnership extension will allow BetMGM and MGM Resorts to continue its use of NHL brands as an experience enhancement to customers of the betting site and patrons at the operators properties.

BetMGM and MGM Resorts are the official sports betting and resort partner and will be incorporated to jewel events by the NHL that will include signage and activation opportunities.

According to reports, the resort and sportsbook operator will be able to continue contacting NHL fans through the fan database via a variety of communication channels.

In addition, NHL media channels will be leveraged for additional years as part of the extension, allowing the sportsbook brand to integrate its market odds on the Showcase Odds feature, along with the resort operator sponsoring various segments on NHL social platforms.

This deal extension continues to strong work between the companies and builds on the successful foundations that were laid back in 2018.

Reportedly, the resort and sports betting operator is committed to delivering innovative content to hockey fans and will be able to collaborate further in opening doors that will boost engagement.

Furthermore, the successful partnership that is already in place between the NHL, BetMGM and MGM Resorts International will help engage existing hockey audiences and bring new fans in to the fold.

Over on the digital sportsbook, hockey fans are able to place bets on matches with more new markets in the pipeline for the future.
