It has been announced today that affiliate ‘lighthouse’ KaFe Rocks has been acquired by online gambling operator and developer Glitnor Group.
Glitnor is a fast-growing operator within the online gambling industry and the firm has now made moves to enter the affiliate iGaming space with the acquisition of KaFe Rocks – a lead generation site that aims to build lasting partnerships in the iGaming industry.
According to reports, this move is part of Glitnor Group’s growth strategy and will assist the business in its expansion and sustainability roadmap on a long-term basis.
As part of the acquisition, Feda Mecan, the co-founder of KaFe Rocks, has joined the board of directors and current chief executive officer of the firm, Simon Pilkington, has joined the executive management team.
Despite the takeover, the day to day management and operation will continue business as usual in its current format.
KaFe Rocks is a leading online gambling affiliate business with a multi-prong skill-set, focusing on content, search engine optimisation and information architecture to create and manage a series of top-ranking platforms spanning over ten different regulated markets around the world, including the US and UK.
The affiliate company will now join other leading brands as part of the Glitnor Group, including Gambola and Lucky Casino.
Reportedly, Glitnor is an ambitious organisation that is striving to be one of the leading iGaming groups online.
Not only has the group taken over a brand that has a strong presence in the affiliate space, but the 170-person strong team has laid the foundations that will drive further growth and provide expansion opportunities in to the sportsbook industry.
What’s more, with a shared vision and ethos, this acquisition is inline with existing plans and preparations within the iGaming industry to create a culture that is reinforced with drive and creativity.
David Flynn of Glitnor Group commented on the acquisition:
Glitnor is not shy about its ambitions to become a leading iGaming group and the acquisition of KaFe Rocks and our move into the lead generation space is evidence of this.
In KaFe Rocks we have an established business being run by an incredibly talented team that owns and operates a network of successful, reputable affiliate assets that will drive growth for the wider group.
I look forward to working closely with Simon, Feda and the entire KaFe Rocks team of 170 Rocketeers as we further expand Glitnor Group’s Total Addressable Market across the iGaming and Sportsbook value-chain, offering reputable iGaming products and services around the world.
Simon Pilkington of KaFe Rocks also shared comments on the take-over and what it means for the firm going forward:
I’ve been hugely impressed with the leadership team at Glitnor and am massively excited for what the future holds for both KaFe Rocks and the Glitnor Group.
Since initial talks began, it’s been clear that both companies share a vision for growth, but that they also value the people driving it and believe in developing a culture where people can thrive.
The trust that they are showing in us to continue being KaFe Rocks is gratefully received and I’m extremely driven to deliver the results that will help the new group achieve its goals.
